Help us paint the largest archive of New Orleanian History in the world. We employ local artists to express the story of the Crescent City so we can get a stronger vision of creating our future.
About TAC
When finished, this mural will be the longest mural in the USA. With a total of 6 phases, the mural will be nearly a mile long. In Phase 1, we completed 600 linear feet (2018-2020). In Phase 2, we completed 600 linear feet (2021-2024). The total linear feet completed so far is 1,200 feet.
Project Lead by New Orleanian Artist: Jamar Pierre
This is a simple one to explain. Jamar Pierre started this organization with one goal…turn the floodwall into a work of art. This project is about beautifying a transitional corridor, maintaining the cultural identity of a rapidly gentrifying city, and giving New Orleans the longest mural in the world while connecting its subjects to the long and dynamic cultural history of the city.
